It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Lee Babcock of Paoli, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Babcock and Ruth Babcock (Claxton); and his brother James A. Babcock. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (Dale Coleman) of Paoli, Jill Babcock Hutslar of Paoli, Jessica Fortner (Darren) of Bedford and Julie Ralston (Curtis) of Paoli; his brothers, Don Babcock (Liz) of Louisville and Danny "Buck" Babcock (Debbie) of Paoli; and his sister-in-law Susan Gilmore (Keith) of Orleans. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Orleans American Legion, Orange County Cancer Patient Services, James A. Babcock Memorial Scholarship, or a charity of your choosing.
