He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E Gilliatt and Gladys Marie Livingston Gilliatt; and his brothers, Victor, Truman and Everett Gilliatt.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Thelma L. Minton; his wife Thelma; his children, Joe (Connie), Connie (Jerry), Brenda (Bill) and Janet (Eddie); and his sisters, Karen and Suzanne Newkirk Paoli (Darrell). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
