He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Rice and Doris Rice (Chandler); his granddaughter Jeanette Reichle; and his siblings, Wayne, Eddie Rice and Beverly Doty.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Rice of Paoli; his children, Paula Byrn (Edward) of Greenville, Lisa Dunaway of Corydon, Becky Rice of Paoli, Lewis Rice Jr. of Paoli and Matthew Rice (Melissa) of Hardinsburg; and his sisters, Phillis Rice of Little York and Margaret Diaz of Milltown. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren 40 Great Grandchildren 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
