She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Bennett and Blanche Adams Bennett; her siblings, Fern Hayes, Phyllis Cotter and Forrest "Bud" Bennett; and her grandchildren, Kamden Scott and Ashlyn Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Smith; her children, Sam (Dinah) and Stephanie (Scott); and her grandchildren, Joan, Phillip Smith II, Rachel Plowman, Madeline Brutscher, Joey Scott, Adam Scott and Sherri Kessler. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
