She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Newlin and Eliza Newlin (Mills); her former husband Charles Hawkins; her husband Carl "Gene" Lambdin; her grandchildren, Jason S Thomas and Ann Marie Clardy; and her brother-in-law Ernie Walton.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hawkins (Pat) of Paoli, Phyllis Schill (Dave) of Indianapolis, Kathryn Elliott of Mitchell and Charlotte Lawton (Jim) of Maineville, OH.; her stepson Mark Lambdin (Nancy) of Shepherdsville, KY.; her sister Rebecca Walton; and her grandchildren, James, Carla, Marvin, Natalie, John Scot, Kaci, Tracey, Chrissy and Stacey. She is also survived by grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
