She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Kirby and Mary Louise Newlin Kirby; her husband Beryl Smelser; and her great grandchild Dayton Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Mike, Diana and Therese (Robert); her sisters, Linda (David) and Brenda; her grandchildren, Kyle Sneed, Joe Edwards, Lori Morgan, Bobby Edwards (Ashley) and Chris Speedy; and her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Edwards, Owen Edwards, Tanner Edwards, Adam Morgan, Katie Morgan, Trenton Edwards and Trey Edwards.
