He is survived by: his brothers, Paul and Calvin; his children, Robert, Phalen, Jr. (Chris) and Jeanine Metzmeier (Todd); his granddaughters, Roxanne Lippert (Josh) and Samantha Kittinger (Garrett); and his great grandchildren, Tobias and Lola.
