He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Embrey and Lettie Embrey (Jackson); his wife Lena Frances Embrey; and his siblings, Robert, Sammy, Clayton, Bill Embrey, Mary Beeler, Christine Vandiver and Sue Reece.
He is survived by: his children, Tony (Delores), Dale (Tammy), Nathan (Carri), Danise (Bruce) and Kim (Jay). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
