It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jones of Palmyra, Indiana, born in Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beve Jones and Hattie Jones (Bailey); and his wife Phyllis Marie Jones (Evaline). He is survived by: his children, Rose McCarty (Dan) and Danny Jones (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey McCarty, Eric McCarty (Sam), Cassie Gustin (Josh), Jessica Ward (Jimmy), Will Jones (Kaleigh) and Lincoln Jones (Dallas). He is also survived by fifteen great- grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John's name to Hosparus Health at 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive Louisville, Ky 40205. interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery in Palmyra, IN.
