He was predeceased by: his father Glen Applegate. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Beasley Applegate; his wife Ann Conrad Applegate of Palmyra; his children, Nicholas Applegate (Mariah) of Campbellsburg, Andrew Applegate of Louisville, Samantha Applegate of Louisville, Haylee McNeill (Sebastian) of Palmyra and Mariah Mattingly (Kyle) of New Salisbury; his siblings, Scott Applegate (Kim) of Pekin and Marijane Crofford of New Albany; and his grandchildren, Clayton, Lakelynn, Hansley, Caison and Harrison.
