It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delmond Ray Byerly of Palmyra, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Byerly and Erma Byerly (Henriott); his wife Helen Fay Byerly (Crane); and his siblings, Bessie Louise Osmola, Opal Marie Sears, Carol Ann Byerly, William Lester Byerly, Marion Lewis Byerly, Donald Richard Byerly, John Franklin Byerly, Marion Gene Byerly and Forrest Byerly.
He is survived by: his children, Garry Allen Byerly (Sharon), Juanita Love (Jerry) and Vivian Byerly; his siblings, June Katheryn Miller and Cecil Vern Byerly (Marilyn); and his grandchildren, Kelly Revard, Keith Byerly (Angel), Daniel Love (Jacquelyn) and Derek Love (Nicole). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ray's memory to the Palmyra Cemetery, or that you consider donating blood at your local blood drive in honor of Ray, who was a generous and frequent blood donor. Alternatively, donations may be made to a veterans charity of your choice.
