He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Garner and Martha Bell Garner (Pankey); and his brothers, Ronald, Macon, Mickey and Jimmy Garner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vickie Whitt (James David) of Sardis City, AL, Donald Garner of Fort Payne, AL, Wahlon Garner of Boaz, AL and Johnny Garner of Boaz, AL.; and his stepchildren, Michael Shockey of Oxford, Donald Shockey (Charity) of West Point, Charles Shockey of Lafayette and Andrea Shockey of Oxford.
Also surviving are four step-children, Michael Shockey of Oxford, Donald (Charity) Shockey of West Point, Charles Shockey of Lafayette, and Andrea Shockey of Oxford.
