She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Barrett and Anna Barrett (Gordon); her husband James Marvel; her son Danny Marvel; her children-in-law, Jim Kruse and Kathy Dilbeck Marvel; her siblings, Francine Barrett, Robert Barrett (Geraldine), Marilyn Gwaltney (Don Flint) and Jeanette Couch (Melvin); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Barrett and Earl Dunnigan.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Marvel (Pam) of Louisville, KY, Steve Marvel (Debbie) of Princeton, Jim Marvel (Sandy) of Owensville and Judy Kruse of Francisco; and her siblings, Jerry Barrett of Owensville and Rosie Dunnigan of Evansville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Christian Church Owensville or the First General Baptist Church of Owensville.
