He is survived by: his wife Betty Armstrong; and his children, Michael Armstrong (Maricel) of Kansas City, David Armstrong of Tuscola, IL, Tom Armstrong (Connie) of Richmond, VA and Debra Ralph (Jamie) of Heyworth, IL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
