He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Wilson and Clara Wilson (Richardson); and his siblings, Rosalie Lucille Davis, Imogene Higginbotham, Roy Lee Wilson and Alan Wayne Wilson.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Dean Higginbotham, Robin Brent Davis, Larry Wilson, Kristina Moore, Jim Higginbotham, Lou Ann Wilson, Jennifer Doyle, Penny Wilson and Chris Al Wilson; and his close friends, Bart and Sherri Clevenger.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wabash County Shelter Buddies in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
