It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Parsley of Owensburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ernest Parsley and Mary Parsley (Jackson); and his siblings, Johnnie, James, Orville, Elmer, Charles, Raymond Parsley, Ona Rollins, Naomi Parsley, Mary "Betty" Horn and Ermal Parsley.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Myers (Kevin) and Rob Parsley; his grandchildren, Laura Gossman (Jim), Andrew Myers (Fawna) and Tim Myers; his great grandchildren, Paige Gossman, Jackson Gossman, Jase Gossman, Gracie Mullis, Isaac Mullis and Tyler Mullis; and his brother Herman Parsley (Betty).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home Inc. - Bloomfield (421 S Seminary St, Bloomfield, IN 47424). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Owensburg Baptist Church (1 Hoover Street, Owensburg, IN 47453).
A special thank you to Cedar Creek Supported Living and IU Health Hospice House for their special care of Bob.; The family wishes any memorial donation in Bob's name be given to the Owensburg Cemetery.
