He is survived by: his wife Alice Kay Smelser; his children, Debra Kay Crull (Michael) of Owensburg and Douglas Scott Mitchell (Gina) of Owensburg; his grandchildren, Caleb Crull, Makenzie Crull, Lauren Crull Bell and Sam Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Dallas and Bronson Bell; and his brother Evan Mitchell of Greenwood, Indiana.
