Billy Alan Combs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Alan Combs of Owensburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Combs and Edith Rose Combs (Cline); his wife Kathleen Hanson (Schumacher); his siblings, Jimmy Combs and Beverly Joann Parker; his stepson Danny Hanson (Katie); his stepson-in-law Paul Wayne Thompson; and his great grandchild Hunter Thompson Roberts.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Sanders (Brian) of Greencastle; his stepdaughters, Beth Roberts (David) of California, Ginny Thompson of Owensburg and Amy Thorne (Phil) of Bedford; his sisters, Mary Jane Sutton and Reta Mae McGuire; and his grandchildren, Jada Stump, Levi Runnells, Leigh Roberts (Shane), Neil Hanson (Shannon), Carrie Helms (Josh), Ben Roberts (Alex), James Hanson, Elizabeth Rector (Donald), Emily Roberts (Johnny Kauffman), Lindsey Tyree (Nick), Abby George (Derek) and Caleb Thorne (Jacy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel (818 18th St, Bedford, IN 47421). A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals.
