He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Myers and Clara Myers; his siblings, Virgil Wayne Myers and Gwendolyn Myers; and his grandson Brody Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Claire K. Myers; his children, Blake Myers (LeAnn) and Bridget Myers (Jason Leighty); his grandchildren, Lucas Myers (Sierra), Kaitlyn Rickenbaugh, Kylie Rickenbaugh, Levi Rickenbaugh, Kassidy Rickenbaugh, Kamren Myers, Kaiden Myers, Jacob Pancake (Meredith) and Nathan Hook (Kelley); and his great grandchildren, Wrex Myers, Austeen Myers, Larson Myers, Ledger Myers, Gavin Pancake, Layne Pancake, Saoirse Pancake, Liam Hook, Connor Hook and Emma Hook. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the O. D. Harris Funeral Homes (705 Walnut St, Petersburg, IN 47567). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
