George A. Norrington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Norrington of Otwell, Indiana, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl D. Norrington Sr. and Mary Willis (Morton); his wife Maire Louise Norrington; his sons, Rick White and Mark Norrington; his grandson Dave Gottschall; his son John Fisher; his siblings, Lester Willis (Roberta), Earl Norrington Jr., Earl Ray Norrington, Benny Ray Willis, Joann Hale and Dorthy Willis; and his grandson Joey Williams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bud Willis and Carol Jean Edge; and his children, Mary Rennie (John), George E. Norrington, Julia Burris (Timmy), Teresa Norrington, Cheryl Gottschall and Charles Crowley. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and many more great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel (226 E Washington St, Oakland City, IN 47660). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Sugarland Memorial Garden.
