He was predeceased by: his brother Dean Fields. He is survived by: his wife Doris Fields; his sons, Jeff Fields (Jean), Jerry Fields (Linda), Mark Fields, John Fields (Molly) and Jason Fields (Jamie); and his brother Howard Fields (Karen).

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Benton Central FFA.
