It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Dean Synesael of Otterbein, Indiana, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Synesael and Elizabeth Synesael (Murdaugh); his siblings, Kenny, David, John Synesael and Diane Burdine; and his granddaughter Rachel Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Jude Ann Synesael; his children, Dennis Synesael (Dawn) of West Lafayette, Angie Cook (Rik) of West Lafayette, Kelley Pigg (Curtis) of Veedersburg, Stephanie Orem (Ronnie) of Forest, Jeff Synesael of Brookston and Kim Bowerman (Jeff Longfellow) of Clarks Hill; and his sister Elaine Larson of West Lafayette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
