He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Burns and Susie Burns (Mussetter). He is survived by: his sons, Robert Burns (Penney) of Bluffton, Jon Burns (Robin) of Van Wert, OH, Randy Burns (Kathy) of Bluffton and Jeff Burns (Jennifer) of Uniondale; and his brother Edmund Burns (Cheryl) of South Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
