He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Habegger and Ella Habegger (Schlatter); his siblings, Patricia Boner, Linda Habegger and Jim Habegger; and his mother-in-law Susan Gerding.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Habegger of Ossian; his daughters, Kallie Crider (Doug) of Denver, CO and Rachel Habegger of Glendale, AZ; his grandchildren, Austin, Molly, Grace and Dillon; his sisters, Sandi Habegger of Laurens, SC and Sharon Whited of Southhaven, MS; his sister-in-law Sandy Gerding of Fort Wayne, IN; and his father-in-law Martin Gerding of Fort Wayne, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to guidelines established by the State of Indiana in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held at a later date.
