She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Wilson and Lucile Wilson (Davis); her son Kelly Burns; and her siblings, Marvin, Donald Wilson, Mary Wilson and Sandy Kiess.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil J. Burns; her sons, Randy Burns (Kathy) of Bluffton and Jeff Burns (Jennifer) of Uniondale; her stepsons, Bob Burns (Penney) of Bluffton and Jon Burns (Robin) of Van Wert, OH; and her siblings, Paul Wilson of Decatur, Dorothy Smith of Poe, Patty Potts of New Haven, Ina Alfonso of Spencer and Marjorie Roeback of Ossian. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
