He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Cardin and Maxine Collins (Hawn); and his sister Linda Cochran. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelli Jenkins (Mike) of Fort Wayne and Stefani Beach of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Cory Jenkins, Kathryn Davis (Reggie), Alexa Beach and Ella Beach; his great grandchildren, Rylee Jenkins and Sullivan Davis; his brother James "Larry" Cardin (Cathy) of Oklahoma; and his mother-in-law Deloris Mahon of Bluffton.
Memorial donations can be made to "Breakthrough T1D" (formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in honor of Ron's granddaughter with type 1 diabetes.
