It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlyn K. Koons of Ossian, Indiana, born in Tocsin, Indiana, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her fathers, Raymond and Durr Durr; her son-in-law Ryan Chasey (Fort Wayne); her siblings, Melanie Durr (Bluffton), David Durr (Sally) of St. Joseph, MI and Douglas Durr (Bluffton); her nieces and nephews, Sarah Phillips (Florida), Elizabeth Perry (Illinois), Parr Durr (Laura Zanotti), Ti Durr (California) and Palmer Durr (Florida); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace, Ellen Perry, Harrison and Rhys Phillips; and her daughter Angela "Angie" Leanne Chasey.

For everyone's safety, we ask that you practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to Ossian Revitalization or Parkview Foundation, Angela Chasey Memorial Fund in support of cancer patients and their families.

“Knowing her my whole life, she had a great personality and wit that I always admired and enjoyed while talking with her. I appreciate her watching many performances my kids were in with plays and show choir and the nice things she always had to say. We sure miss Angie as well. Two wonderful ladies our community and family will always thinking highly of. Deep sympathy to those who knew and loved her.”
