Lorraine Hilsmier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Hilsmier of Ossian, Indiana, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Harris and Honor Harris (Kleinknecht); her children, Julia, Jill and Mark A. Hilsmier; and her siblings, Patricia Geller, Jacquelyn Williams and Richard Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Hilsmier and Anjanette Lassiter of Bluffton; her grandchildren, Bryce Bender (Amanda), Brandt Bender (Ashley) of Huntington, Trey Bender of Zanesville and Cole Lemberg of Minnesota; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Lipp (Norm) of Ossian. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lemler Funeral Home (308 W Washington St, Bluffton, IN 46714). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
