It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Herrick of Ossian, Indiana, born in Bluffton, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Othal D. Herrick and Charlotte J. Herrick (Mossburg); his sisters, Barbara Meyer and Bonnie Hall; and his nephew Jeff Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Nancy Bowman (Jody) of Phoenix, AZ, Amy Seewald (Rob) of Etna Green, IN and Daniel Moon (Teri) of Uniondale, IN.; his grandchildren, Beth Troyer (Brad) of Goshen, IN, Brittany Ely (Matt) of Wakarusa, IN, Anna Seewald of Etna Green, IN, Lisa Bowman of Atlanta, GA, Hannah Bowman of Phoenix, AZ, Seth Moon of Markle, IN, Kody Moon of Markle, IN, Dalton Warren (Logan) of Fort Wayne, IN, Karlee Warren of Fort Wayne, IN and Mitch Warren of Fort Wayne, IN; and his great grandchildren, Braxton and Bailey Troyer of Goshen, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
