He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Hillegas; and his pet KoKo. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Hillegas (Sparks); his wife Tonya France; his brother Jerry Hillegas of Roanoke, IN; his parents-in-law, Temes and Sandra France; his sister Heidi; his brother-in-law Dave Okonski; his niece Ashley Devore (Billy); his nephew Kevin Okonski; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gavin Okonski, Oliver Devore, Vera Devore, Izzy Okonski and Cora Devore.
