He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman E. Steffen and Rosella "Rosie" Steffen (Burkhart); his brother Steven "Steve" L. Steffen; and his brother-in-law Michael L. Burke. He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Ossian; his sons, Brandon M. Steffen of Fort Wayne and Brett Steffen (Nick Pronesti) of Fort Wayne; his brother Donnie Steffen (Brenda) of Bluffton; his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Steffen of Bluffton and Joyce Burke of Spring Hill, TN.; and his nephew Ryan Burke of Franklin, TN..

Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemler Funeral Home (308 W Washington St, Bluffton, IN 46714).

Memorial may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
