He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Wilson and Virginia Wilson (Gysin); and his sister Lezzley Ann Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Sherry R. Wilson of Ossian; his daughter Michelle Shane (Michael) of Ossian; and his grandchildren, Wesley Shane of Ossian, Hannah Shane of Ossian and Emma Shane of Ossian.

Memorials may be made in Jim's memory to Forgotten Children Worldwide or the Gospel Barn of Bluffton.
