He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin C. Bienz and Emilie Bienz (Bulmahn); and his brothers, Gilbert and Kenneth Bienz. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bienz of Ossian, Indiana; his sons, David Bienz (Mary Beth) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steven Bienz (Susan) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Brian Bienz (Lana) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his siblings, Leland Bienz (Phyllis) of Fort Wayne, Elgene Bienz (Pam) of Decatur and Florence Moser of Decatur, Indiana; his grandchildren, Laura Bienz, Jeff Bienz, Alex Bienz, Kate Werling, Michael Bienz, Emilie Baumann (Russell), Clinton Bienz (Gwen), James Bienz, Erin Bienz and Sierra Bienz; and his great grandchild Elijah Bienz.
