She was predeceased by: her father John E. Burgess; her sister Nellie Slater; her nephew Steve Slater; and her grandson Jeremy Karst. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Braner (Leonard), Teresa Hope (Doug), Rosemary Karst (Steve), Paula Ladd (Hunter Robbins) and John Ladd (J. D. Dobias). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
