He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Franke of Ossian, Indiana; his children, Cheri Melching (Edward) of Carmel, Ann Fruchte (David) of Southern Pines, Kelly Walsh (Edward) of Raleigh and Thomas Franke (Michele) of Mason, Ohio; his sisters, Delores Scheumann of Ossian and Beverly Braun (William) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Jordan Fruchte, Conner Melching, Megan Fruchte, Christian Melching, Jack Franke, Sophie Walsh, Ava Franke and Delaney Walsh.
