He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eicher and Artimese Eicher. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sprunger Eicher; his sons, Bruce Eicher (Kristina) and Tim Eicher (Julie); his grandchildren, Ian (Taylor), Ellery, Kaylee and Evangeline Eicher; and his sisters, Ann Welty and Catherine Eicher.
