He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dale and Mabel Mae Sonnenberg (Shady); his son Chris Allen Sonnenberg; and his brother Werden Sonnenberg. He is survived by: his wife Ella Marie (Cookie); his sons, Kent Douglas Sonnenberg, Michael Dale Sonnenberg (Angela) and Steven Lee Sonnenberg (Andrea); his grandchildren, Emma Katheryn Sonnenberg, Samantha Marie Braun (Parker), Madelyn Louise Alles (Nicolas), Avery Brynn Sonnenberg, Nolan Christopher Sonnenberg and Mollee Nicole Sonnenberg; and his sister Cinda Gater.
