Steve Gookins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Gookins of Osgood, Indiana, who passed away on November 6, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph B. Gookins and Fanny Gookins (Booth). He is survived by: his wife Rita Gookins (Vollmer); his children, Stephenie (Tom Purtlebaugh) of Sheridan, IN and Ryan Gookins (Angie) of Shelbyville, IN; his grandchildren, Zachary, Roddick and Annabelle; his siblings, Henry "Hank" Gookins (Nancy) of Bargersville, IN and Letitia "Tish" Burill of Skiatook, OK; and his grandson Thanksgiving of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
