He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schwing and Lavonna Schwing (Myer); and his siblings, Carl Schwing, Debbie and Carol Schwing.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schwing (Goldizen) of Osgood, Indiana; his daughters, Carol Bragdon (David), Stephanie Schwing-Stamper (Chad), Natalie Emily (Gilbert) and Sarah Fisher (Adam); his adoptive son Tony Bauer; his grandchildren, Sarah Johnson, Stephen Bragdon, Makiah Stamper, Alexander Stamper and Dannie Rae Emily; his great grandchildren, Teddy Johnson, Jack Johnson, Charlotte Johnson, Kale Bragdon and Emmett Bragdon; and his close friends, Cora and Eddie Bullard.
Memorials may be given in honor of Steve to the Decatur County Memorial Hospital for their dedicated service to their patients or to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center for their service to our veterans.
