He was predeceased by: his father David Lee Ellison; his grandparents, LaVerne Auel and Walter Ellison; and his nephew Mikey Burkhart. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Ellison (Dornbach) of Osgood; his children, Seth Dornbach, Noah Ellison of Osgood and Alea Ellison of Osgood; his mother Venette Burkhart (Troy) of Aurora; his brothers, Brett Ellison of Gaston, Jason Ellison (Tiona Goodpaster) of Moores Hill and Eric Burkhart (Toni) of Connersville; his brother-in-law Bryan Dornbach of Erlanger, Kentucky; and his mother-in-law Lori Litton of Osgood. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home (16717 Manchester St, Moores Hill, IN 47032). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in honor of Michael to the family.
