Jerry Denver Burton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Denver Burton of Osgood, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Burton and Cora Burton (Hart); his wife Odetta Franklin; his son Jeff Burton; and his siblings, Bob Burton and Geneva Doyle.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Burton (Connie) of Monticello, IN and Rick Burton (Rocio) of Fletcher; his grandchildren, Brian Burton, Christopher Burton, Brice Burton, Scott Banes, Brittany Sulzinger, Kaley Jones and Stephanie Hostetler; and his close friend Linda Bruce. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Osgood First Baptist Church (124 N Sycamore St, Osgood, IN 47037). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be given to Osgood First Baptist in care of the funeral home.
