Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Geraldine Houston of Osgood, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 87, on December 17, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Barrett and Bertha Barrett (Powell); her husband John "Eddie" Houston; her daughter Shelly Billingsley; her siblings, Joe, Oscar, Arnold, Jessie, Lloyd Barrett and Ola Mehring; and her great grandchildren, Paycin Kritlow, Macy Demaree and Jeremiah Acton.

She is survived by: her children, Nathan Nickell (Lori) of Indianapolis, Matthew Nickell (Brenda) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shannon Dehner (Carl) of Versailles, Sherry Calvert (Tony) of Osgood, Sharla Houston (Greg) of Moores Hill and Sheila Houston Harmon (Junior) of Milan; her siblings, Delbert Barrett of Trenton, Ohio, Dorothy Geisler of Dayton, LueCinda Rogers of Lebanon and Delora Lykins of Florida; and her friend Debbie Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Due to the Governor's new mandate and for everyone's health and safety, social distancing should be observed, and masks must be worn while inside the funeral home.

Memorials may be given in honor of Geraldine to the Gideons International, donor's choice, or the deaf foundation.
