Wanda Wood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Wood of Osceola, Indiana, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Spear and Mildred Spear (Emmert); and her siblings, Jean Good and Richard Spear. She is survived by: her husband Irvin "Woody" Wood; her daughters, Cheryl Frick (Steve) of Mishawaka, IN and Sheila Neice (Gary) of Granger, IN; her grandchildren, Christa Gabrielson, Scott Frick (Jen Hadden), Laura Rydzinski (Josh), Emily Handschu (Chad), Abbey Platt (Reid), Sean Wakefield (Robbie) and Aubrey Wakefield; and her great grandchildren, Severin, Gabrielle Gabrielson, Alyssa, Joshua Handschu, Lillian, Orianna, Aurora, Samuel, Elinor Rydzinski, Maxwell, Ethan Platt, Walter Frick, Annabelle and Lincoln Lint. She is also survived by her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In her memory, donations may be made to the Center for Hospice or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for Leukemia research.
