She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Elmer Davenport Sr. and Doris Irene Davenport (Shumate); her brother Elmer Davenport Jr.; her husband Alan Hatfield; her son Robert Hatfield; and her grandson Aaron Michael Hatfield.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hatfield of Granger, Lowell Hatfield (Ruth) of Argos and Brenda K Wohlford (Drew) of Osceola. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
In Shirley's memory, the family's preferred memorials are to the Bethany Missionary Church and the Alzheimers Association.
