He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Wajszczuk (Lutes); his son Peter Wajszczuk (Amanda); his grandchildren, Karli and Connor; his siblings, Eugene Wajszczuk (Susan) and Elizabeth Wajszczuk; his nieces, Jane Szczepaniak (Jim) and Diane Barry (Jack); his great-nieces, Ellen Garza (Emmanuel) and Emily Barry; his brother-in-law Stan Lutes (Pat); and also Alice Pieczykolan.
