He is survived by: his wife Dawn Hartl; his children, Kiersten, Reiner, Thomas and Caleb; his siblings, Cheryl Cabanaw (Jeff), Pamela Siebert (Kurt), Kathie Nash (Clay), Nancy Mahler, Ronald Mahler (Brenda) and Lora Mahler; and his brother-in-law Otto Hartl Jr. (Tammy).
