He was predeceased by: his parents, Jovito Alcantara and Julia Carabello Alcantara; his siblings, Jovito Alcantara and Eugenia Alcantara; and his son-in-law Arturo Campoy.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Lopez; his children, Faustino "Javier" Alcantara (Lisseth) of Chicago, Julia Alcantara of Osceola and Flor Alcantara (Jeirys Gonzales) of Osceola; and his grandchildren, Alfonso Campoy, Mariana Alcantara, Matthias Gonzales and Fiorella Gonzales.
