She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Stewart and Jessie Stewart (Galbreath); her husband Donald E. Herrington; and her siblings, Marion Stewart, Dorothy Sweetman, Martha Jones, Rose Pearcy and Esther Stewart.

She is survived by: her children, Linda K. Gerkin (Lee) of Orleans and Bryan Herrington (Jennifer) of Santa Maria, California; and her grandchildren, Jay Gerkin (Kirbee), Stewart Gerkin (Morgan), Heidi Brett, Kyle and Mitchell Herrington. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
