He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Robert and Mary Gayle Maudlin (Walton); his wife Shirley Jeanette Coffey; his siblings, Carolyn Sullivan and Miles Maudlin; and his granddaughter Stephanie Amber Maudlin.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Crews Corydon (Duane) and Treg Maudlin of Livonia; his grandchildren, Stacy Hammons (Joey), Sandra Maudlin, Tyler Crews and Cassondra Crews (Philip); his great grandchildren, Cheyenne Simpson, Brennon Simpson, Alex Lambert Jr. and Stephanie Ann Maudlin; his grandchildren, Thomas Apple III, Lindan Apple, Cadence Crews and Harper Crews; and his brother Gary Maudlin of Salem.
