He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Burger and Patricia Burger (Rees); and his brother Rick Burger. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Kay Burger (Huff); his sons, Chris Burger (Lacey) of Paoli and Brent Burger (Emily) of Ellettsville; his grandchildren, Gracie, Lane, Ellie and Benton; his stepmother Melba Burger of Jasper; and his siblings, Greg Burger (Marilyn) of Dubois, Dave Burger of Jasper, Bruce Patton of Jasper, Brian Patton (Sherri) of Jasper, Clint Burger (Christie) of Chandler, IN and Jaleigh Long (Adam) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
